Attempting to export geometry to your first project, but keep getting sent back to the first project page. Read this article for troubleshooting tips.
"Please upload your 3D geometry before visiting the daylight page"
The error message seen above is likely due to one of the following three items:
If you are using the Rhino/Grasshopper plugin, try using a new grasshopper script downloaded from the app store. Grasshopper files can become glitchy over time, so it is best practice to start a new file with every unique project.
Try exporting to a new project. In rare cases, the first project of a new user's account can quickly run into many errors and become corrupted. Try making a second project and repeating the export. Users can also try creating a copy of the erroring project to test this solution.
For VPN users, try temporarily disabling your VPN until after you have successfully exported. If you are able to proceed to the 3D analysis page then reactivate your VPN and proceed with the rest of the analysis pages. Both geometry export and optimization pages may have issues with VPNs.
