Mechanical Plants that are Heating or Cooling can be assigned to various components on the Air Systems Page. A Condenser plant can be assigned to Heating and Cooling type plants from the Mechanical Plants Page. Plants are organized by type which determines where they can be assigned. For example, a Heating Type Mechanical Plant can be assigned to the Heating Source of Primary Hydronic Coils of an Air System, but a Cooling Type Plant cannot be assigned here.

By default all Air System Coils are assigned to an Ideal Loop which enables the simulation to run, however will not provide Mechanical Plant Results. In order to generate results for Mechanical Plants, first create those components, and then assign to Air Systems as described here.
