The color-coded boxes seen next to engineering inputs on the Baseline Energy Page are efficiency ratings. They are helpful for anyone not familiar with energy assumptions to quickly identify whether their inputs are high performance or not. Use it to become familiar with ideal ranges, but don't let it dominate a conversation as higher-rated inputs aren't always realistic considerations for every project.

The colors represent:

  • Red Box: Low-Performance Option

  • Yellow Box: Medium or Average Performance Option

  • Green Box: High-Performance Option
