While cove.tool offer plugins to Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper and Sketchup, users can model their geometry in the software using the manual mode. This can be done by simply typing in the area take-offs in the online app.

The online portal allows users flexibility to modify glazing percentage and orientation of their building massing.

Due to the limitations of geometry information attained by manual mode, it is unable to produce a full floor plate daylight map, but allows for rapid façade prototyping with daylight and glare studies.
